Floristry Masterclasses

Learn the art of flower arrangement through hands-on workshops designed for creative minds who want to master both traditional techniques and contemporary design approaches

Wedding & Event Floristry

After working with dozens of couples and event planners since 2019, I've learned that wedding floristry requires more than just arranging pretty flowers. It's about understanding the story behind each celebration and translating that into arrangements that feel authentic to the couple.

Our masterclasses focus on the practical skills you'll actually use – from creating bridal bouquets that photograph beautifully to designing centerpieces that encourage conversation rather than blocking it.

  • Bridal bouquet construction with proper wiring techniques
  • Seasonal flower selection and availability planning
  • Color theory applied to wedding themes and photography
  • Budget-conscious design strategies that maintain elegance
  • Transportation and setup logistics for event venues

Available Learning Programs

Each program runs over several weeks, giving you time to practice techniques between sessions. We keep groups small – maximum eight participants – because floristry really needs individual attention to develop properly.

Amara Voss

Lead Instructor & Designer

Been working with flowers professionally since 2017. Started in a small flower shop in Baku's old quarter, then moved into wedding design when I realized how much I enjoyed the collaborative aspect of creating something meaningful for people's biggest celebrations.

Practical Learning Approach

Rather than just showing you techniques, we work through real scenarios you'll encounter if you decide to pursue floristry professionally. Students often tell me they appreciate learning about the business side alongside the creative work – because knowing how to price your services properly is just as important as knowing how to wire a rose stem.

Seasonal Adaptation

Working with Azerbaijan's climate and local flower availability throughout the year

Cultural Considerations

Understanding local wedding traditions and ceremonial flower customs

Vendor Relationships

Building connections with local growers and reliable flower suppliers

Client Communication

Managing expectations and translating vague ideas into concrete designs
