Our Floristry Teaching Process
Discover how we transform complete beginners into confident floral artists through our carefully structured approach to hands-on learning
Philosophy Behind Our Method
Teaching floristry isn't just about showing someone how to arrange flowers. It's about understanding that each student brings their own creative vision, their own pace of learning, and their own reasons for wanting to work with flowers.
We've discovered that traditional classroom approaches often leave students feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from the actual craft. That's why Kamal developed our signature method after working with over 300 students across Baku's creative community.
Small Groups, Big Impact
Every masterclass is limited to just 6 participants. This isn't a business decision – it's an educational one. With more than six people, individual guidance becomes impossible. With fewer, the collaborative energy that makes learning exciting simply disappears.
How Each Masterclass Unfolds
From the moment you walk into our studio until you leave with your completed arrangement, every minute is designed to build your confidence and skills progressively
Foundation & Materials Introduction
We start by examining the flowers together – their characteristics, how they behave, what makes them work well in arrangements. You'll learn to select stems that will actually last, understand why some combinations work while others don't, and get familiar with the tools that will become extensions of your creativity.
Guided Practice with Real Feedback
This is where most students have their breakthrough moment. Instead of copying exactly what the instructor does, you'll work on your own piece while receiving constant guidance. We catch problems before they become frustrating, celebrate what's working well, and adjust techniques to match your natural style.
Personal Style Development
Every arrangement tells a story, and yours should tell your story. We help you discover whether you're naturally drawn to structured, architectural designs or prefer organic, flowing compositions. There's no right or wrong – just finding what feels authentic to you.
Completion & Next Steps Planning
The class doesn't end when your arrangement is finished. We spend time discussing how to care for your creation, what supplies you'll need to continue practicing at home, and which skills to focus on next. Many students leave with a clear plan for their floristry journey.
Ready to Start Your Journey?
Our next series of masterclasses begins in September 2025. Before you register, we recommend scheduling a brief consultation to discuss your goals and help you choose the right starting point for your skill level.
